This Calgary portrait session was booked in order to celebrate V's birthday. Initially this was going to be at Confederation Park and then due to forecasted rain, it was going to be a studio session. Then after seeing my blog posts, she and her family were more drawn to on location shoots. V definitely had a vision of wanting lean on architectural elements with relaxed, cooler than school vibes. It was great to be able to text each other and look at wardrobe choices together. Only other request was to have her son's picture with his new car!
