Case Study: Senex Advisory
Assignment was to photograph a team of 10 engineers at Senex at the Ampersand Building. They wanted headshots which were more editorial and incorporated architectural textures.
Before the scheduled shoot; I took photos of the environment and presented the team with a myriad of backdrops of the Ampersand Lobby. Then a 1.5 hour photo session was booked to capture one group photo and ten individual headshot sessions.
Linh was exceptional and professional throughout the entire process. She responded quickly to my questions, was flexible with her scheduling, and demonstrated great creativity in her work. The photoshoot ran on schedule, and I recieved my photos promptly, far exceeding my expectations. Thank you, Linh!

Rock U Canada
A visionary teacher and 2 lawyers decide they want to share their passion for Rock & Roll and decide to open a School of Rock. They call it Rock U Canada. They hired me for a two hour shoot. A shot list was created before the session that highlighted all their classes: little kids, teen sessions and adult band sessions. 1700 unique photos were captured, which they used in their first year of social media marketing. I had a blast! What a great opportunity!
Elite West
Volleyball Club
Elite West Volleyball Club was founded in 1981 by National Volleyball players with a vision to train elite University players. The goal of the club is to recruit U14 boys and train them for 4 years and give all of them a chance to play USport and receive university scholarships all of Canada.
Elite West needed an upgrade in their photography to reflect the professionalism of the club. Team photos and coaches' photos were updated. (1 hour of studio photography). Action photos of games and tournaments rounded out their imagery profile and branding. (4 hours of practice and tournament photography taken throughout the year.)
Starfishly Clay Works
I took up pottery about six years ago. It's something I love to do on my down time. Pottery is very labor intensive. It's the opposite of photography in terms of artistic process. Photography is often for me a reductive process, taking away distractions from reality to create a cohesive, singular image. Pottery is about additive, creating something from dirt. It's such a delight to feel the control of creating a new object that never existed before. Do I do pottery just so I can take photos of them. Yes!!! yes. I do.

This was a 1.5 hour branding session that was both fun and productive: 1500 unique exposures of headshots, lifestyle portraits and precious dog portraits were taken. Shot list conquered!

This was mini shoot of an exhibition of painter Crystal Chambaualt and and jewelry designer Kristina Regehr. Loved photographing in Kristine's gorgeous home. It was a beautiful evening, with beautiful work and beautiful people!

Team at National Bank
James Whitehouse is Senior Wealth Advisor & Portfolio manager at National Bank in Calgary. Such a fun corporate session. James was so enthusiastic and engaged. The whole team dressed so sharply. During this 2 hour session; 1500 exposures was taken for James' new website and social media marketing.

Started a young mother Calgary based entrepreneur who is an HR consultant by day. Meylin Shapewear is a stretchy, comfortable and cute shapewear that aims to take on the shape wear market in the like of Skim and Spanx. This a very productive was a 3 hour catalog photography session.
